NOTE TO READER: I LOVE Utah. Don't think I hate it. I think it's a BEAUTIFUL place to live. I even like looking at the mountain tops covered with snow especially because I know it makes the drought-worriers less worried. I think living in a place that offers a change of seasons brings variety to life. So, in a nutshell, here's a few reasons why I'm just ready for the next season...
10. Our bikes don't leave room for ski/snow equipment.
9. Because money should not have to be spent on a machine to move snow when the sun is supposed to do that for you.
8. It feels like groundhog day. (wake up, look outside). "What?!?! It snowed AGAIN?!?! I just shoveled last night!"
7. Too cold to bike (although, Mike is going to do the frozen hog this weekend. Go Mike!).
6. An insane dog. Yes, Cesar, I know I should be walking Kermit at least once a day. But Cesar, move to Utah, and then show me how you plan to roller blade your dogs around town.
5. Christmas is over.
4. It's hard to teach Max that the sky is blue, when it's actually a grayish/blah color that's full of polluted air.
3. Frozen gray lumps of matter are eating more and more parking stalls at the gym.
2. Cold hands and diaper changes. Poor Max.
1. Anyone else in favor of global warming?

Hey Sara!!! So glad you found me/Diania! It's SO great to hear from you and read up on your family! You all look so happy (sans snow...which, by the way, I am also entirely disgruntled about!).
Let's do lunch soon! I miss you!
I'm so sick of having more than one commute over an hour in one week!
AMEN to that! I would like to add to your list an eleventh reason.
#11. Having to wear so many layers of clothes that it takes 20 minutes just to get dressed to go for a bike ride. Then when you are done, you have an entire load worth of dirty laundry.
ha! exactly right! warm weather would just save all of us so much time!
