Christmas/new/bike

Maybe I can only process things chronologically, or maybe I'm just weird, but I feel like I can't make a new post unless I've at least mentioned the holidays! So, here's a few Christmas photos of the fam (okay, mostly Max). It was so fun to see both families - and, while Max didn't really get the process, he definitely loved visiting his grandparents!

And, while we couldn't party like it's 1999 with a toddler into the wee hours, and my check writing skills are again put to the test, the new year really is a great time to stop and reflect. Mike and I had an awesome 2007 - I finished my first century, Mike rocked his first season of cyclocross, we took some fun trips - from tropical, sunny hawaii, to D.C., Mike finished his MBA (whoo hoo!!), and most important we got to hang out with the best little guy - Max, and see him figure out the really important stuff like how to walk, eat real food, and say his first words. Looking back makes me excited to look forward to 2008 and what the new year will bring!

Now, onto the news: Lucky Mike won a raffle at the Cyclocross awards dinner last Saturday! Here's a photo of his cool Scott frame (I know, I know, if Mike were posting this, he'd have every detail about the frame listed out). Sorry, guys, I just think it's a cool frame. Sadly, it's too small for his tall body (I guess the organizers don't plan for the tall guy to win!). So, for the first time in Mike's life, he's actually trying to sell one of his frames (rather than try to convince me that he needs to buy a new one!). Any takers?

Max's red hair is so adorable! I can't get over it! Sounds like you had a great year (for some reason I can't remember you going to Hawaii - where was I?!). Congrats to Mike on graduating!

Hey guys! I stalked your site through Rob and Lorena. Congrats on the MBA. That is the first time I have seen Max too. He's a cute kid! Red hair is always good. It looks like things are going well for you, especially now that you could take Lance Armstrong on.

Cam,

Nice to hear from you! I hope everything is well for you and your family. The red hair thing makes me wonder if he truly is my kid?!!
