iTunes

So, I'm putting together some tunes for Vday for the classes I'm teaching.

Mike and I have a HOT DATE (literally). He's coming to the cycle class I'm teaching that night. Yep, he's completely off the hook from having the pressure of planning a big fancy night out. I really can't think of a better way to spend the evening than doing something we both like to do together. Who knows?!? We might even go crazy and hit my favorite treat place after.

Anyway, on the iTunes guide to valentine's day, they are offering all types of sappy playlists. From the romantic moods, make up songs to break up songs, I feel like iTunes is trying to be completely P.C. to the holiday, and provide everyone with slow songs that will either get you in the mood, or make you depressed. What about the fun valentines music out there - i.e. "Happy Valentine's Day" by Outkast - which couldn't be a more direct valentine's day song!!

On the other hand, I guess not everyone out there is trying to find specific BPM for people to push a pedal to, but c'mon, does it all have to be so slow and sappy?
