I've kind of been craving the mountain bike lately. Not that I'm done road biking, but the mountain bike has so many good things to offer. Joe Gardner and and I decided to hit the hills of Draper today and enjoy some of the finest single track the SLC has to offer. We basically did the ICUP race loop with an additional out and back climb towards the top of Suncrest. It was a good workout. Joe really has a killer instinct when it comes to the descents. More often than not, he was waiting for me at the bottom of the hills. I have no balls when it comes to down hill! Joe has a cool camera that can be mounted on either your handle bar or seat post. Check his blog
joemtbiker.blogspot.com for a video of me trying to hold his wheel during our descent of Clark's. If you look closely, you can notice that I'm riding my full suspension geared bike. I still have nightmares of Cholla everytime I get on my single speed. I'm sure I'll get over it someday.
