Can't wait for CX!

Next Saturday is the first cross race of the season and I'm really excited! In preparation, I dusted off the Raleigh single speed and headed to the hills of Draper to make sure the bike was still in working order. Despite a few minor adjustments, the bike is working great and should perform well next week! While riding I ran into Scottypants and Kelsey. Kelsey hasn't been on a bike in a year and just about kept up with me the whole way up Clark's. The kid is amazing! The 39x18 gear was a little painful up Clarks but proved to be a great workout! Did I mention that I can't wait for next Saturday?

Rob, this video is for you!

You need to find the one of him singing "feelings". I should have my bike tomorrow. I'll have about a week to get used to it before I try to not finish last in my first cross race.

You won't finish last! Your track and field instincts will take over and you'll do fine!

I need to be a little more proactive and figure out what it is going to take to get a CX scene down here in san jorge. Yes, sure - the weather isn't really conducive, but I am sure that running with bikes in 60 degree weather would be just as fun as it is when it is 20 degrees.

Jon, you'd be the perfect person to head up a CX series down south! To be honest, I prefer the 60 degree weather over the frigid temps up North!
