Mind of Max

Mom gave me a cinnamon heart last year*. She said it was spicy, and so I thought I would try it. I love spicy things. She puts these yellow peppers on my sandwiches at lunch and they are so good they make my eyes water. Last year* we went to this restaurant that had pinatas* and bowls of hot sauce. That's all I ate. A big scoop of hot sauce and a little bit of chip. It made my eyes water a lot, but I really loved it. And I really loved the pinatas.* I told mom I wanted a triangle one for my birthday.

Mom said I like spicy things just like dad and that I would like Korea. Not sure what she's talking about, or what Korea is, but the cinnamon heart was in my hands and I was ready to take a bite.

I popped it in my mouth and started to chew. Then the worst thing happened. I kept chewing and chewing and it wouldn't go away. I chewed until I couldn't chew anymore and it was still in my mouth!

I was worried.

Mom and dad always tell me that a cavity comes from food stuck in our teeth and here it is! It must be happening right now!

I panicked.

Mom gave me a glass of water, but it was no use. My teeth are all going to fall out. What was she thinking? I can't eat this! I'm not going to have any more teeth!

Tears running down my face, I ran to the bathroom. There was only one thing I could do.

And it worked. I love my toothbrush.

*last year - anytime in the past. This could have been last week, last month, or a day ago...

*pinata - pronounced exactly how you see it - with the "n" sound similar to "banana".

Funny - At least you know he'll always have good dental hygiene b/c he's already so worried about it.

Oh I love reading your posts. I always get a good laugh when it's "Mind of Max". Hey congrats on two for two with redheads!!! I would have never imagined you two with redheads but it totally fits. I also would have never imagined my Mack with his carrot top.
