Mind of Max

Mom asked me the other day how I liked Minnesota, and I told her "good!"

I think it's really cool to ride my bike around and go really fast. I can go the fastest. My favorite place is Como Zoo because I love to pretend that I am a seal.

There is a park in my backyard. I thought it was just for us, and I used to tell all the other kids that it was my park, but they could come play on it. Then mom told me that it's for everyone. But they don't live as close, so I still like to pretend it's mine.

I told my mom that I love this house because it has an upstairs, a middlestairs and a downstairs. My room is upstairs. I love it upstairs. Except for one time when Dad read me a scary witch story (Hansel & Gretel) and I got really scared. Would she really eat the fingers? I kept asking. His witch voice was really scary, so I told him he couldn't do it anymore. Then I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking about that witch.

I love summertime because we go swimming all the day*. I love to jump in the deep part the very best.

Mom and dad set up this cool camera on the computer so now I can talk to my nanas and papas. I love to talk to them, especially because I can look at myself the whole time on the tiny screen. She showed me where they will sleep when they come have a sleepover at my house, and I think they will love flying on an airplane just as much as I did.
