Or, as Max calls it, "the American Mall." We finally went. And, yes, it is huge. From the outside, it really doesn't seem that big, but then you go in and the place feels endless. Right in the middle is the amusement park. Crazy.

Action shot of the log ride. Max loved this one!

First time with the bumper cars. He and this girl spent half of it jammed in the corner. Everyone was trying to explain to them how to get out of the jam, and it was just hilarious to watch. Out and back in. I don't know if that ride is more fun for the kids, or for the parents to watch!

Mike took Max on one of those slowly-take-you-up-and-then-drop-you rides. Max was BARELY tall enough for this one, and didn't catch a preview of what to expect - he just hopped on. Watching from below, all we could see were clenched jaws and wiggly feet. Mike said, after they'd gone up and down a couple times, as they climbed back to the top, Max said, "dad, this is kind of freaking me out!" I thought I'd have a kid in tears at the end, but it was the complete opposite. He must get that from his dad.

Alexis was a really good sport. She was just too little for the rides, but still seemed to find excitement in the park bench.
