Haircut #1

Seriously. Minus a one-time bang trim, this girl has had nothing done to that head since she was born. The flyaway-borderline-mullet-losing-the-curls-stage had come to a peak, and she was ready for an actual haircut.

I thought she'd be excited to go in and be a big kid, but as soon as she sat in the chair, she pulled a huge pout and stared at herself in the mirror and cried. It was a pretty funny because she was so sad, but did nothing to move out of the chair, and didn't try to turn away from the mirror. Maybe she feared what so many women fear when they are going to a new hair stylist for the first time - "will they ruin my hair?"

Halfway through she warmed up and saw it wasn't so bad. Then she started pulling faces in the mirror. Too cute.

I got her home and the rest of the night, she kept touching her hair to make sure it was fixed just right. What a girl.
