Way too long!

Boom. The rush of the holiday season hit me like a train and before I could even think twice, the blog updates were the first thing out the window. I blame it on the combination of everything that I typically do coming to a peak in a relatively short amount of time. It seems like every section of life that I'm involved in seemed to hit it's maximum amount of work all at once, and as a result, caught me in a loop of chaos these past few weeks. I think if I would have spent more time blogging behind the computer, Mike would wonder if he even had a wife to hang out with anymore! As things go, this was the first thing thrown out until life returned back to "normal." Although, I've never really had a clear definition of what that should actually be, I'm grateful for the few breaths here and there opening up where I can do some updating. Apologies in advance for the somewhat "outdated" news, but old news is better than no news, right?
