Sis had been in the room transition phase for some time. And, completely because she had no interest in parting with her crib. She loved it. So different from the jumping out, teeth biting crazy guy who previously resided there. We began the gradual process a few months ago. Grandparents were kind enough to take her out for big girl bedding (thanks mom and dad), and then she moved onto a mattress. Eventually we put the whole thing together for her in her new room. By that point, she was so excited to have a big bed just like Max.
And, while we were at it, we refinished this old dresser. When I say we, I actually mean that I found the idea and concept*, and Mike did all of the work. Took more time than he'd originally thought, but it turned out awesome. No before pics, but it was a stained light yellowish-brown with brass handles. She was so excited to have a new dresser she thanked dad for days, and still loves to carefully open and close the drawers.
