But, I had this valentine's idea from one of these places (I can't remember which, and it may have been from both?!). The concept is to cut out a bunch of hearts, and everyone writes something they love about everyone else. Then you hang them up. We stuck ours on our doors.
I LOVED what Max wrote about Tayler:
Could a first grade boy think of anything better?
Alexis drew everyone pictures of what she told me she loved.
(I like you because you throw up.)
Could a first grade boy think of anything better?
Alexis drew everyone pictures of what she told me she loved.
Max told me he loves that I'm funny, then made sure to draw all the different expressions I have. Notice the happy face received a star, while the frowny face did not. Love the perspective. He'll always remember that mom is human too.
Up until the knee surgery, he's had some fun going to his basketball practices with Mike. Clearly that was memorable for him.
This tradition will be a keeper.
