A few weeks prior to the new year, she decided she’d had “enough” of nursery at church (where children 18 months - 3 years old go to play and learn while the bigger folks are in classes elsewhere). To prepare the kids for the transition to primary (the classes for children ages 3-12), they’d go to primary for a brief “preview.” As soon as she realized where she was going, she was done attending nursery! We chuckled a bit those couple of inbetween weeks where she wouldn’t go back to nursery, but wasn’t quite in primary yet!
Here she is after her first day as a “Sunbeam” (the name of her age group). She LOVED it.
Within just a few weeks, she was asked to give a talk (a super brief message about Jesus Christ). She and I actually prepared a little one together, in her words, but when the day came standing in front of everyone was a bit intimidating! It’s okay. After church, Tayler said that “her dad” gave the best talk that day!
