What a difference one week can make! Last week the cross race was full of nice temps, dust, and fast corners. This week, Wheeler was full of 8 inches of fresh powder and slow, slippery corners! It wouldn't have been so bad if I could have stayed on my bike. I swear, every corner I was going down! I shouldn't have brought my Bianchi! I was eager to have it lose its virginity this week so I decided to race it despite the crappy weather. Boy, was that a mistake. The 44x18 gearing was way too much and I felt like I was going in slow motion for half of the race. Oh well, it was still tons of fun. I finished 3rd behind Eric Gardiner from Utah State and Troy Nye from Bikeman.com. Next week is the series finale with double points. I need to finished strong to take the points series. We'll see...
Should have raced the Raleigh!!

wheeler looks very cold, and hurty. 66 inches is a tall gear for all of that frozen rain stuff.
That looked like fun.
Anyone seen the forecast for the next one? More of the same, get those cameras ready and waterproofed!
It's gonna be a slippery mess again! Should be tons o fun!
Well, it would have been nice to have had the whole team together for the last cross race. Maybe next year those guys wont let alittle snow stop them.
