Mike and I went to the ultrasound yesterday, and I must say, I was really impressed with the ultrasound equipment. Maybe it's newer equipment than we had with Max but I just remember looking at the screen thinking "I only see black and white blotches everywhere."
But this was totally different. We saw the spine, the bones, the skull - eye sockets and everything, a cool profile of the little face, all ten fingers wiggling around, both sides of the brain, and even the kidneys when she pointed them out. I was really surprised. And, of course, we saw the really exciting part....
it's a little girl!!!
(okay, so she said she was 95% sure it was a girl, so I guess for you boy voters there could still be a chance down the road. A pretty small one though....the doctor said that this ultrasound reading lady (sorry, I don't know her official title), has never guessed wrong!)
The little cutie is right on track for a December 27th due date (Merry Christmas!) and is currently 7 oz. Everything looks healthy and well, and to my relief, there's still only one in there (sorry Rob!).

Yeah, congrats on a girl! :)
What I meant was that girls are three times more difficult then boys, so it will be like having triplets.
Yea!
Hooray! I'm so excited for you guys! And, we'll be in Utah so we might even get to meet your baby girl!
Didn't I say it was going to be girl? You guys have ideas on names?
