Taking advantage of the good weather, we headed over to a pumpkin patch by our house - (thanks to Jeri, Mike's mom, for telling us about it)! Max LOVED it. Not so much for the pumpkins (which he kept telling me he wanted to eat - thinking they'd taste similar to pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that we make from home), but for the 15 or so TRACTORS they have there as well. Little man took the opportunity to sit on every single tractor - and was so engrossed with the machinery that it was tough getting his attention for anything else! Alas, we found the best way to actually get some pumpkins was with a ride in the wagon!
Saturday, Mike and I took him to Gardner Village to see the witches. We took him on a fun witches scavenger hunt complete with a chocolate chip cookie for finishing! While he loved all the kids and halloween costumes, Max didn't quite know what to think of the witches - you'll see in the photos he's staring at them as if to make sure they don't jump at him while he's not looking. We finally convinced him they were all happy witches who loved dancing to the music (they had music throughout the village) just as much as he did!
He is getting so big. What a handsome boy! Not much longer and you'll have a new little one! I'm so excited to have a niece. I wish my kids wouldn't have been sick so we could have went to the pumpkin patch with you, it looked like fun. Especially for Max with all the tractors!
