CX ist Fertig!

It's a sad day when the final CX race comes around. Draper was the last venue for the 2008 edition of the Utah CX series. I enjoyed the last race in Draper a whole lot more than the first. This time around I felt strong the entire race and lucked out with absolutely no mechanicals or flats! I had my best finish of the year, albeit it was only 8th! Hey, single speed class is super competitive! At least I'll keep telling myself that to make me feel better. I'd love to be in KC right now racing in Nationals but I'll have to save that trip for another year. Sara is about ready to pop and the baby could come any day! Max will have a little sis running around here soon! Here are some pics from the last few races. Compliments to Ethan from Timp for taking some sweet action shots!

Rounding a tight corner at Wheeler

Up the barriers!
This run-up killed me everytime!

Another Wheeler barrier shot

I don't know who this guy is but he and I duked it out every race. He usually ended up besting me right at the end.

Me on Rico's wheel. I could only keep up with him for a lap and half then he was gonzo!
Riding up one of the Draper hills with Trent Higley from Bikers Edge pushing the pace from behind. I finally held on to beat this guy!

Great looking jersey. With any luck, you'll have a frame to match for next season.

I would be most honored to be riding a tasty Sabrosa next season!
