It's official. I'm more pregnant now than I've ever been (I had Max at 37.5 weeks). My belly has definitely popped out and dropped. And, while most everyone is counting down to Christmas, here's 12 reasons why she might be holding out:
12. She knows I'm actually prepared (with Max, we had barely set up the crib the night before, and I didn't have any of his clothes or bedding washed). So, this time around, I actually didn't procrastinate.
11. My belly is warm and cozy, and it's freezin' outside.
10. There needs to be more snow on the ground before she will arrive.
9. Speaking of snow, she's holding out for a gigantic snowstorm that'll make it impossible to drive anywhere.
8. Pushing against that right hip and pelvis is way way too fun (nevermind that she'll probably come out with a dent in her head!).
7. She wants to make sure she has plenty of fat on that cute body before coming out.
6. She's a little shy.
5. She is afraid of Santa, and wants to avoid seeing him until she's a year old.
4. She wants to see how much more she can stretch out my belly.
3. She has patience and is in no rush to jump into things early.
2. She knows we haven't picked out a name yet (sorry babe, we're waiting till we see what you look like!)
1. She's holding out to be the cutest Christmas present ever.

If it makes you feel better (or worse) I was six weeks late.
Hang in there Sara. I know the feeling. I'm so excited to see her!!! There's just something about little girls. You are going to have so much fun. Keep us up to date. If you need any help with Max, you know where to find us. Love ya.
Here's another one for you... my soon-to-be-born niece knows that her mom is ridiculously cute even at 9 months pregnant, and she's gearing up to be just as independent as her mom!
