Saturday was a pre-tour tour of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It is BEAUTIFUL and if you have a chance to check out this gorgeous building, go for it. We took the kiddos and both were great - Max really enjoyed seeing everything and was excited that the temple is done (until now, we'd drive by and he'd say, "still building it!"). He walked the whole way and loved the baptismal font. He'd say, "I want to get baptized!" (we laughed because Mike and I know his little mind was thinking about how much he'd like to jump in the water!) Little Alex managed to complete another event as the amazing baby that she is. She was awake, happy, alert and seemed to enjoy the whole experience.
Later that day, we headed to the Tooele Cemetery, where most of my family is buried (on my dad's side). In fact, since my dad's family helped to settle Tooele, we have graves from pioneers and up. It's always nice to remember those who paved the way to make our lives what they are now.
