Car Show

Max loves cars and trucks. A good chunk of our day is spent playing cars. Every night, he takes a couple cars to sleep with him. So, it was a real treat when we went to check out the car show.

And, while there were no displays of construction trucks (his absolute favorite), he was still pretty dang satisfied.

And since I've mentioned construction trucks, he'll often ask, "mom, can I really be a construction worker when I grow up? I want to drive the escalator*" (his pronunciation for excavator.)

He's already decided that Alexis will want to drive trucks as well. He's assigned her the bulldozer.

*One day my mom was watching the kids and Max told her all about this cool escalator that he wants for his birthday. My mom called me the next day telling me that she'd searched online for a toy escalator and couldn't find one. Whoops.
