Words by Max

From Sara: This is the first installment of blog posts written by Max! Max has been writing "autobiographies" for school centered on various topics, and we wanted to add these to our log of family history! He is excited to begin sharing some of his experiences in his own words!

TOPIC: An awkward moment

Oh boy, when I was ten years old there was many crazy things, bad things and good things, but the best story of all was when I lived Utah and I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from playing basketball at a local community center. I was waiting and waiting when this lady came up to me and said that my mom had locked her keys in her car.

            Boom!

I flew off, running, because at that time, I was very paranoid of people kidnapping me. For some weird reason, I thought she was going to kidnap me by saying my mom locked her keys in her car. My mom never does stuff like that. I thought she was going to try to take me to her car!

I ran through the community center, found a random lady, and told her that the other lady was trying to kidnap me. A couple seconds lady, the first girl (who I thought was trying to kidnap me), came up and said that she actually worked at the community center.

It turns out that she did work there, and what she was trying to say was that my mom really did lock the keys in the car and was running late.

Well, I guess we all have our awkward moments, and this was one of my funniest!
