My parents picked this up up many moons ago - before they even had kiddos on a trip to Germany. I don't know if they ever thought, "oh our red-headed-light-skinned-grandson of a 1/4 German dad would love to dress up in these!" But, it's worked out great - showing Max a piece of history has been fun.
I snagged the rocking chair from my parents storage before we moved up here - and it's a piece of history too, as it's been in my mom's family for many years.
